Bulk turpentine derivatives & pine chemistry for the paint, adhesive, fragrance and cleaning industries.

Manufacturer-direct supply of Turpentine Oil (FCL-scale · a high-volume SKU in our portfolio), Δ-3-Carene, α-Pinene, β-Pinene, Pine Oil + D-Limonene as a natural degreaser substitute, for paint & varnish manufacturers, adhesive & resin producers, industrial-fragrance compounders, and bulk-cleaning chemical formulators.

Quick answerIndian long-leaf pine (Pinus longifolia/roxburghii) is our primary feedstock. We fractionate turpentine into α-pinene, β-pinene, Δ-3-carene (the dominant Indian-turpentine compound at 15-30%, much higher than European), and the various pine-oil isomers. We supply 25kg drum to FCL container.

Industries we serve in pine chemistry

Paint & varnish

Turpentine as paint thinner + varnish solvent. Δ-3-Carene + α-pinene as resin chemistry intermediates.

Adhesive & tackifier

α-Pinene + β-Pinene → terpene resin synthesis for adhesive industry, pressure-sensitive labels, hot-melt glues.

F&F intermediate buyers

The “naturals from pine” supply chain — β-pinene → myrcene → linalool / geraniol. Major F&F houses source ingredient-grade pine fractions from us.

Industrial cleaning & household

Pine oil + D-Limonene as natural-positioning degreasers + floor cleaners. The eco-friendly alternative to petrochemical solvents.

Pharmaceutical

Turpentine as liniment ingredient + dental cement solvent. α-Pinene as borneol/camphor synthesis intermediate.

Camphor synthesis

α-Pinene is the global standard feedstock for synthetic camphor manufacturing. We supply α-pinene to camphor manufacturers in Maharashtra + Gujarat.

Why pine-industry buyers source from us direct

Indian Forest Department-aligned source chain

Our turpentine feedstock is sourced from Indian Forest Department-licensed pine oleoresin tapping in Himachal Pradesh + Uttarakhand + J&K. This is a regulated supply chain — not every supplier can access it. We have 30+ years of permitted-source relationships.

The Δ-3-Carene advantage

Indian turpentine is uniquely Δ-3-Carene-rich (15-30%) compared to European/Chinese turpentine (typically <5%). For buyers needing high-Δ-3-Carene for synthesis, India is the cost-leader globally and we are India’s largest exporter of fractionated Δ-3-Carene at FCL-scale capacity.

Standard packaging + FCL economics

Pine-chemistry buyers typically buy at industrial scale. Our standard formats:

  • 25kg HDPE drum — for trial / pilot quantity
  • 180kg MS drum — standard bulk pack, most common
  • 1,000L IBC tank — for high-volume buyers wanting reduced packaging cost
  • FCL container — palletised drums or IBCs, ~18 MT per 20-foot, ~36 MT per 40-foot — lowest per-kg cost economics

Lead time on standard 180kg drum order: 5-10 days for domestic; 14-21 days FOB Nhava Sheva for sea-freight export.

FAQ — Pine Chemistry Procurement

What’s the Δ-3-Carene content typically in your Indian turpentine?
15-30% typical, batch-dependent on the source forest. Each consignment ships with batch-specific GC composition. We can fractionate to deliver ≥85% Δ-3-Carene isolated if you need the pure compound.
Do you supply IBC-tank format for high-volume manufacturers?
Yes — 1,000L stainless-steel or HDPE IBC tanks. Most cost-effective for buyers exceeding ~2 MT/month. Initial pilot typically starts on 25kg drum and graduates to IBC once volume justifies.
Can you supply low-Δ-3-Carene turpentine (European-style) by request?
If your synthesis requires low-carene Indian feedstock, we can blend with imported European-style turpentine to achieve a target Δ-3-Carene %. Specify target % in your RFQ. Premium tier pricing applies.
What’s the price differential between Indian turpentine vs Chinese turpentine?
Indian typically 10-25% premium to Chinese on per-kg basis, but with significantly higher Δ-3-Carene content + better α/β-pinene profile. For buyers using turpentine purely as a solvent (paint thinner), Chinese is cost-competitive. For buyers fractionating to pinenes or isolating Δ-3-Carene, Indian is the better economics.
Is FCL container shipping competitive vs European supply?
India-EU FCL freight is roughly 60% cheaper per kg than India-USA. EU buyers typically combine 18 MT (20-foot) FCL shipments with us at FOB Nhava Sheva to Hamburg/Rotterdam/Antwerp — total landed cost competitive vs intra-EU sourcing in most cases.
