What flavour & fragrance compounders source from us

Indian F&F industry compounders — from tier-1 multinationals to private-label perfume houses to flavour developers serving the regional FMCG market — share a procurement profile: high-volume, technical-grade, FEMA/IFRA-documented aromatic chemicals at MOQs that scale from 5 kg pilot to FCL container.

We are the upstream manufacturer behind a meaningful share of the Indian aromatic-chemicals trade. Many of the wholesalers and re-packers known publicly to F&F buyers source their material from our Ghaziabad facility. Buying direct from Expo Organics removes one layer of margin without compromising on documentation, GC-MS verification, or lead time.

Why F&F compounders source from Expo Organics direct

Manufacturer-direct supply chain

Expo Organics is the upstream manufacturer behind a significant share of India’s aromatic-chemicals trade. Our Ghaziabad facility is the production source — not a re-packer, not a trader. When you source from us, you skip the middlemen who buy from us, mark up 15-30%, and resell.

This matters most on high-volume SKUs: Thymol, D-Limonene, Terpineol, Linalool, Eucalyptol, Phenyl Ethyl Alcohol, and our pine-chemistry derivatives.

FEMA / IFRA / REACH-ready documentation

Every consignment ships with a third-party NABL-accredited GC-MS Certificate of Analysis, MSDS in 16-section GHS format, Certificate of Origin (DGFT/FIEO), and the right combination of FEMA / IFRA / REACH compliance docs for your destination market.

36-month retain samples archived at our Ghaziabad QC for any downstream re-test. We have not had a regrettable batch rejection in the last 12 months of export.

Frequently asked by F&F compounders

Do you supply both natural-derived and synthetic versions of common aromatic chemicals like Linalool and Geraniol?
Yes. Linalool can be supplied natural ex-bois-de-rose or synthetic ex-myrcene per buyer spec. Geraniol can be natural ex-citronella java, ex-palmarosa, or synthetic. We disclose source clearly on each batch COA. Synthetic versions are typically 30-45% lower cost; natural versions are required for COSMOS / USDA Organic finished products.
What’s your IFRA compliance position for restricted ingredients like Methyl Eugenol?
We supply Methyl Eugenol with full IFRA compliance documentation. Buyers receive the current IFRA Standard for the relevant ingredient with each consignment. If a Standard restricts use in a specific cosmetic category, we advise on the alternative we can supply (e.g. natural ex-bay laurel oil with low methyl eugenol content). Always verify final formulation IFRA compliance with your own RIFM-aligned consultant.
Can you supply REACH-registered material for EU compounders?
Yes. The aromatic chemicals in our top-30 portfolio are REACH-registered (either as full registrations or via Only Representatives for compounds under 1 tonne/year). We provide the REACH registration number with each consignment to EU buyers. For SKUs not currently REACH-covered, we can route via a Only Representative or recommend an alternative that is covered.
What’s your minimum order for trial pilot compounds?
1 kg pilot is our practical MOQ for most aromatic chemicals. For premium/luxury ingredients (Safranal Luxe, Bacdanol, Hydroxycitronellal), MOQ is often 500 g due to value density. 10 g samples are always available paid at ₹300 with full credit on bulk order placed within 60 days.
How are you priced vs. tier-2 traders like VedaOils or AOS Products?
Expo Organics is the manufacturer; many of those re-packers source from us. Our direct pricing typically runs 12-25% below the same SKU resold through a re-packer, depending on volume tier. The further up the volume curve (consistent supply), the larger the manufacturer-direct advantage.
Can you supply complete F&F compound BOMs to a recipe (not just individual ingredients)?
Yes, our private-label and custom-blending services accept full BOMs and return a finished compound. MOQ on custom compounds is 25 kg minimum. Learn more about private label and custom blending.
