Expo Organics

Essential Oil Manufacturer in India — Bulk, Private Label & Export Supply Since 1984

A 40-year-old essential oil manufacturer, built for B2B buyers

Choosing an essential oil manufacturer in India is the single most consequential decision in a brand’s supply chain. Get it right and your products land consistent batch after batch, regulators sign off on your documentation, and your COGS sit where your spreadsheet promised. Get it wrong and you spend a year troubleshooting adulteration, missed lead times, and label-claim mismatches.

Expo Organics has been in this business since 1984. We are a family-run, MSME-certified manufacturer of essential oils, carrier oils, spice oils, aromatic chemicals, floral waters, herbal extracts and Bhimseni camphor — supplying cosmetic, aromatherapy, personal-care, pharma and flavour-fragrance buyers across 30+ countries. Two facilities in India anchor the operation: a Delhi head office in Mayur Vihar Phase 1, and our manufacturing unit in the Bulandshahar Road Industrial Area in Ghaziabad.

This page exists to answer one question quickly: should you source from us, and if so, how do we make that easy? If you’d rather skip the read, request a quote and the export desk will reply within 24 working hours.

What we manufacture

A full-range portfolio so buyers can consolidate sourcing under one supplier and one set of documentation:

  • Essential Oils — 100+ steam-distilled and cold-pressed oils. Best-sellers include lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), peppermint (Mentha piperita), tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia), eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus), lemongrass (Cymbopogon flexuosus), sandalwood, vetiver, patchouli, rose otto, jasmine absolute, frankincense, rosemary and clary sage.
  • Carrier Oils — cold-pressed jojoba, argan, sweet almond, coconut (cosmetic-grade and edible-grade), sesame, grapeseed, rosehip, avocado.
  • Spice Oils — clove, cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper, ginger, turmeric — FEMA GRAS where applicable, food-flavour-fragrance grade.
  • Aromatic Chemicals & Isolates — eugenol, linalool, citral, geraniol, terpineol, methyl chavicol — for fragrance and flavour houses.
  • Floral Waters / Hydrosols — rose, lavender, sandalwood, vetiver, neroli — cosmetic-grade.
  • Herbal Extracts — standardised Ayurvedic and botanical extracts for nutraceutical and cosmetic use.
  • Bhimseni Camphor — 100% pure, in pooja, edible and pharma grades; tablets, granules and slabs.
  • Private Label & OEM — your brand, our manufacturing. From 500 bottles per SKU.

If something isn’t on that list but should be — ask. We make custom blends, custom dilutions and custom packaging routinely.

Why B2B buyers source from us

40-year manufacturing heritage

Established 1984. Four decades of supplier relationships across India’s flowering belts — Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Karnataka, Kerala — and four decades of refining how we distil, test and ship. Heritage matters in this industry because adulteration usually shows up at scale, and most operators who shortcut it don’t last twenty years, let alone forty.

MSME-certified, pharmacopoeia-aware

We are formally certified by the Ministry of MSME, Government of India. Our quality standards are aligned with USP (United States Pharmacopoeia), IP (Indian Pharmacopoeia) and BP (British Pharmacopoeia). Your buyer’s QA team can audit our documentation against pharmacopoeial benchmarks — we do not invent in-house “grades” that disappear when scrutinised.

GC-MS Certificate of Analysis on every batch

Every bulk batch ships with a third-party GC-MS COA showing identity, chemical composition, purity and the markers your formulator cares about (e.g., linalool % and linalyl acetate % for lavender; menthol % for peppermint; gamma-terpinene and terpinen-4-ol for tea tree). Retained samples are kept for 36 months in case you need re-testing or audit support down the line.

Flexible MOQ for every stage of brand growth

Sample sizes start at 10 g. Pilot bulk orders from 1 kg. Standard bulk in 5 kg / 25 kg HDPE drums. Container loads of 180 kg sealed barrels for fragrance houses and contract manufacturers. We grow with you — there’s no pretending to be a boutique supplier when you’re 1 kg, and no panic when you’re a container.

Export operations that don’t slow you down

FOB Delhi (air-freight, IGI) and FOB Nhava Sheva or Mundra (sea-freight, FCL or LCL). Full export documentation prepared in-house: GC-MS COA, MSDS, Certificate of Origin (DGFT / FIEO), phytosanitary where applicable, HS-code documentation, packing list, commercial invoice. Payment via LC at sight, TT (30% advance / 70% against B/L), or PayPal / Wise for sample orders under USD 2,000.

Two facilities, one supply chain

Delhi: head office, export desk, sample dispatch, walk-in buyer meetings. Ghaziabad: stills, QC lab, packing line, bulk storage. Air freight from Delhi is two hours away. Sea freight from Nhava Sheva is a 24-hour rail haul. The split is operational, not marketing — it’s why our lead times don’t slip.

Who buys from us

Cosmetic and personal-care brands. Pure single-source oils with the chemical-composition documentation needed for INCI labelling and EU/US compliance. Allergen statements supplied. COA is auditable.

Aromatherapy brands. Authentic, single-origin essential oils with the markers aromatherapists actually look for — not adulterated blends or synthetic linalool. We will tell you which lots are which harvest year if it matters to your formulation.

Private-label and contract manufacturers. We bottle, label and document your SKU end-to-end. Pick the oil, pick the bottle (1 ml roll-on through 100 ml dropper), send the label artwork — we ship the boxed, palletised product.

Pharma and nutraceutical. USP/IP/BP-aligned production with batch traceability. Audit-ready documentation.

Flavour and fragrance houses. Aromatic chemicals and isolates in bulk drum quantities. FEMA GRAS where applicable. IFRA-aware sourcing.

Soap and candle makers. Heat-stable oils that don’t discolour cold-process soap. Bulk drum packaging gets per-kg pricing into territory hobbyist suppliers can’t match.

Spiritual-goods importers. Bhimseni camphor — 100% pure, no synthetic adulteration. Pooja, edible and pharma grades.

How we run quality control

Three short paragraphs because this is where most of the conversation with a serious buyer takes place.

Sourcing. Identity is confirmed on receipt at Ghaziabad. Crop year, grower lot and origin are logged. We work with the same growers year after year — relationship continuity is the cheapest insurance against adulteration.

Production. Steam distillation in copper and stainless-steel stills, with batch-level logs of time, pressure, temperature and yield. Cold pressing for citrus and most carrier oils. No solvent extraction, no synthetic dilution, no blending of source lots without explicit buyer instruction.

Testing. Every batch goes through in-house QC for physical parameters (specific gravity, refractive index, optical rotation, organoleptic profile), then to a third-party laboratory for GC-MS analysis. The COA travels with every shipment and is sent ahead by email on dispatch. Retained samples are kept for 36 months.

Sourcing from India: what to think about before you sign a supplier

A few honest considerations for buyers comparing Indian suppliers (us or others):

Currency and pricing volatility. INR-USD moves materially over a 12-month contract. Negotiate a price valid period (typically 30–90 days) and revisit on renewals. Avoid suppliers who quote without specifying validity.

Adulteration risk. It exists. The defence is GC-MS COA from a recognised third-party lab, retained samples you can re-test, and longstanding supplier relationships. Be cautious of any supplier whose price is materially below market with no explanation.

Lead times. Indian agriculture is seasonal. Lavender peaks April–June. Sandalwood is supply-constrained year-round. Plan procurement against harvest calendars, not just calendar quarters. We’ll walk you through our supply visibility on a discovery call.

Documentation discipline. This is where the biggest gap between Indian suppliers shows up. If a supplier can’t generate a clean COO, MSDS and GC-MS within 48 hours of asking, they will not be ready for your buyer’s import broker either.

Logistics. Air freight via Delhi (IGI) is fast and reliable. Sea via Nhava Sheva is the volume route — but congestion is a real factor; build buffer into your ETA expectations.
