How the custom-blend service works (6-step)
Brief discovery call
Discovery call (~30-60 minutes) on Zoom/WhatsApp. You share: target character, application (soap/candle/cosmetic/etc.), volume forecast, target landed cost, regulatory destination, NDA scope.
NDA signed + technical brief
Mutual NDA signed. Our perfumer + R&D team prepare a technical brief based on the discovery call — translating commercial brief to compound architecture.
First-iteration sample (2-3 weeks)
First custom-blend sample (typically 100g-1 kg depending on application) shipped with COA + organoleptic notes from our in-house perfumer.
Buyer evaluation + feedback
You evaluate in your lab / on your finished-product matrix. Send back feedback: “more woody base”, “less citrus top”, “stronger fixative” — whatever needs adjusting.
Iteration 2-3 (typically 2-3 rounds total)
Refined sample(s) based on your feedback. Most custom blends are dialled-in within 2-3 iteration rounds.
Final spec locked + production batch
Final compound spec locked. First production batch (50 kg+) scheduled. Locked-recipe NDA + reservation slot in our 6-month production planner.
Custom-blend pricing structure
- Sample iterations: Typically free for serious bulk prospects (with NDA + forecast commitment). Sample shipping at cost.
- R&D charge: For deeply custom work (e.g., match-to-sample reverse-engineering on a 12-ingredient compound), R&D charge may apply (₹15-50k depending on complexity). Credited back against first production order.
- Production batch: Standard tier-ladder pricing applies. 50 kg minimum for custom blends; 180 kg for bulk drum; FCL for container scale.
- Recurring custom blend: Locked-recipe pricing valid for 6-12 months. Reservation slot ensures capacity.
